Top Tips for Maximizing Sleep

Set a Routine

Consistency and habit-building are essential for better sleep. Here are a few easy steps:

  • Start with scheduling a bedtime. It may sound juvenile to have a bedtime, but your body will thank you for teaching it when to expect sleep. 

  • Plan your bedtime to give you the right amount of sleep. For an adult, that’s 7 to 9 hours of sleep every night. 

  • Have a pre-sleep routine. You can prepare your body for sleep by doing some low-impact activities, like a short stretch or some yoga poses that promote sleep

Create the Right Environment

Your surroundings are important when you prepare to sleep. There are a few simple adjustments you can make:
